Police intercept vehicle carrying suspected stolen cows in Hoima
Hakiza added that police will provide further information after the suspects have been interrogated.

Hoima: Police in Hoima City have intercepted a Noah vehicle, registration number UA 159AY, allegedly carrying two suspected stolen cows.
Three suspects were arrested during the operation conducted by the Flying Squad of the Albertine Region in collaboration with Territorial Police in Hoima City.
The vehicle and the recovered cows have been taken to the Regional Police offices as investigations continue.
According to Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine South Region Police Spokesperson, the vehicle was intercepted along Old Toro Road following intelligence provided by members of the public.
“The information provided by members of the public helped police intercept the vehicle and recover the suspected stolen cows,” Hakiza said.
Hakiza commended the public for cooperating with the police and providing information that led to the recovery.
He said the suspects will be interrogated before being taken back to the alleged scene of crime for reconstruction.
Hakiza added that police will provide further information after the suspects have been interrogated.
