Kakumiro: An 11-year-old girl is nursing wounds after being allegedly defiled by two men.
The cruel incident happened in Kyabanena Cell, Kisiita Town Council, in the Western District of Uganda, Kakumiro.
The girl told this publication that she was watching television in her neighborhood when she was called by Silia and Kennedy, who claimed she was needed by her aunt.
They then forcibly dragged her into a coffee plantation, where they allegedly defiled her. The incident happened on Monday, May 6, 2024, at around 8 p.m.
The victim approached a neighbor, Emmanuel Kasumali, crying for help. Her clothes were covered in blood, indicating the severity of her injuries.

The victim’s aunt, Praise Kyompaire, is her guardian. However, she has been hanging out with men frequently, neglecting her family.
Aida Kurulagyire, the Kyabalitwa Ward Councilor, emphasizes the importance of mothers finding legitimate means of income to support their families instead of engaging in prostitution.
As of now, the Kisiita Police have arrested Praise Kyompaire for negligence, investigations are ongoing, and authorities are still searching for the suspects.
