Woman on run after man dies during sexual encounter
He collapsed and died while allegedly engaging in sexual activity with the suspect.
Ntungamo: Police in Ntungamo District have launched a manhunt for a woman identified only as Kellen, a resident of Kacerere, Nyarwanya, Rubaare Town Council, after a man reportedly died during a sexual encounter at her residence.
The incident occurred on Sunday, June 15, at approximately 2:30 PM. According to eyewitnesses, the man known locally only by his occupation as a lumberman collapsed and died while allegedly engaging in sexual activity with the suspect.
Kellen is said to have fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The case was first reported by area vice chairperson Deus Byamugisha, who raised the alarm to local authorities.
However, police were slow to respond until Coleb Rweguuta, the acting LC III Chairperson for Rubaare Sub-county, intervened and urged detectives from Rubaare Police Station to act swiftly.
The police eventually responded, retrieved the body, and transported it to Itojo Hospital for a post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.
As of the time of this report, no official statement had been released by the Uganda Police Force, and the suspect remains at large.
Authorities are urging members of the public with information on Kellen’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
