He added that they are also going to construct a 5-kilometer Bisenyi-Balibona-Lyato road at a cost of 80 million shillings.

Hoima: Authorities in Hoima district have commissioned the construction of a 12-kilometer Harbale-Hanga-Buhirigi road in Kigorobya Sub County in Hoima district.

During the commissioning, Vincent Irumba, the Hoima district engineer, explained that the 12-kilometer road construction will take one and a half months and will cost 120 million shillings.

Irumba said they will make sure they shape the road very well and put in culverts where it’s supposed to be.

The district engineer added that they are also going to construct a 5-kilometer Bisenyi-Balibona-Lyato road at a cost of 80 million shillings.

The Hoima district chairman, Uthuman Mugisa, urged the residents to always keep their roads clean and avoid dumping garbage in the drainages since it blocks water from flowing, thus causing flooding of the road and its water, which spoils most roads.
