Hoima: Minister of State for Works and Transport, Fred Byamukama, has requested that taxi and bus park drivers in Hoima City to endure the saving culture if they are to maintain their income.

Byamukama said this in a written document delivered to Hoima City Taxi and Bus Park Savings and Credit Society Management as he was gratifying his pledge of 10 million shillings.

The minister further applauded the taxi and bus park drivers for initiating a SACCO, which he says, if maintained and used well, will be a strong pillar of development for the members.

He said the main cause of the cooperative is saving, credit, and developing the tour and travel project for which they expect to get reasonable money.
