Buliisa LC3 Chairperson, two others remanded to prison 

The Buliisa grade one magistrate, presided over by Agrey Atamba, remanded the trio to Buliisa government prison up to January 11, 2024.

Buliisa: The Buliisa Grade 1 magistrate court has remanded the Buliisa sub-county LC3 chairperson, Kabagambe Kamanda, and two others for criminal trespass on the tycoon’s Mr. Kahwa Franco`s land in Bugana parish Buliisa Sub County Buliisa District.

Others remanded are Muhereza Bajenja and Muhreza Bamugabe, all residents of Bugana in Buliisa Sub County.

The criminal trespass case stemmed from Kamanda`s interception of eight trucks of cattle, which were heading to Bugana Kataleba village in the land of Kaahwa Franco some months ago.

Upon receiving the information of the illegal entry of the cattle in the sub county, Kamanda rallied locals and other political leaders and intercepted the cattle, impounded them at the sub county headquarters.

The Buliisa grade one magistrate, presided over by Agrey Atamba, remanded the trio to Buliisa government prison up to January 11, 2024.
