Scores feared dead as fuso lorry overturns in Kasese
Eyewitnesses say that the Fuso truck overturned after veering off the road.
Kasese: Scores of traders are feared dead after a fuso lorry they were traveling in overturned in Kasese district.
The incident happened on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9 p.m. along Bwera-Kasese Road at Bukangara Bridge at the border of Nyakiyumbu and Munkunyu sub counties in Bukonzo County.
According to an eyewitness, the accident involved a fuso truck that was transporting cassava. Eyewitnesses say that the Fuso truck overturned after veering off the road.
Police from Bwera Division rushed to the scene but could not comment on the incident or the fatalities by the time of publication.
