One killed, another injured in aggravated robbery, murder

Buwenge: Kiira Regional Police are actively pursuing a group of armed robbers who attacked Praise God Hardware Shop in Buwenge, Jinja District, on Friday.

The police responded quickly to the scene, and one cartridge was retrieved for forensic analysis at the Government Analytical Laboratory (GAL) in Kampala.
Spokesperson for Kiira Region Police, Sp James Mubi, confirmed that Mbadi’s body has been taken to Jinja Regional Referral Hospital, where Matege is receiving treatment for his injuries.
Buwenge Police Station DPC, SP Morris Oyee, has urged the public to report any information about the incident.
Despite this tragic event, police officials, including Charles Nsaba, emphasized their ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and urged residents to stay vigilant.
