Janet Museveni warns leaders against corruption
She also condemned men who took advantage of marrying many women with PDM money.

Ntungamo: The Minister for Education, Janet Kataha Museveni, who is in Ntungamo District monitoring the Parish Development Model Programme, said that Africa is blessed with a conducive environment, but surprisingly, it is poor.
She said that we still have leaders who are taking the country behind by stealing government programs that are meant to benefit the common person.
While in Mahega village, Katojo Parish, Rubare Town Council, Rushenyi County, Ntungamo District, at the PDM Monitoring Evaluation and its implementation, the guest of honor, Janet Museveni, condemned beneficiaries for using money to pay school fees, hence urging them to take their children to seed secondary schools.
She also condemned men who took advantage of marrying many women with PDM money. She said that men have neglected their responsibility, leaving women to take care of children and the whole family.
The Resident District Commissioner, Ntungamo Geofrey Mucunguzi, recommended a secretariat leading the parish development program for camping in Ntungamo. He said that Janet’s coming to the district is completely timely, and the World Bank has threatened to stop all their funding from Uganda.
Mucunguzi said that Ntungamo will soon be leading other districts in the country in implementing the program. He said that his office is committed to fighting bribery and wrongdoing within the district.
Some district leaders present were Rushenyi County MP Hon. Naome Kabasharira and MP Kajara County Hon.Timuzigu Michael, District Woman Mp. Hon. Josyln Baata Kamateneti, DRDC Ntungamo Rosemary Atuhaire, Hon.Jovuline Kariisa, the national deputy director of PDM, Vice Chairman NRM Ntungamo District Ivan Asiimwe Rutahweire, DPC Bushaija Hannington (SSP), and 401 battalion commander, among others, were in attendance at the PDM monitoring evaluation and its implementation, where the first lady, Hon. Janet Museveni, is the chief guest.
