Hoima CAO transferred, hands over the office

The deputy CAO, Harriet Katusiime, has also been transferred to Kamwenge district.

Hoima: The District Administrative Officer (CAO) for Hoima Charles Komakech Oluba, has been transferred to Kapchorwa district.

Komakech, who served as the CAO at Hoima district local government (HDLG) for 1 year and 7 months, handed over the office to Emmanuel Ssempala, who has been transferred from Kamwenge district.

The handover function was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in the office of the CAO at the district headquarters in Kasingo.

While handing over the office, Komakech commended different offices in Hoima district for helping him perform his duties as the CAO at HDLG.

Emmanuel Ssempala, who is the new CAO for Hoima district, appealed to different stakeholders to have a spirit of working together.

Uthman Mugisha Mubarak of the Hoima district appealed to all stakeholders to be open to each other by always sticking to the truth.

Rogers Mbabazi, the Hoima Resident District Commissioner, implored the new CAO to desist from being involved in politics.

The deputy CAO, Harriet Katusiime, has also been transferred to Kamwenge district; however, her replacement is not yet in place.
