Masindi Stanbic Bank Manager collapses dead

Masindi: Hilda Doreen Rwabugahya, the manager of Stanbic Bank’s Masindi branch, tragically passed away on Wednesday after collapsing in her bathroom at her home.

According to Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Regional Police Spokesperson, Rwabugahya was rushed to the Supreme Medical Centre for initial treatment.

She was later transferred to Kitara Medical Hospital for specialized care but unfortunately passed away shortly after her arrival.

Annet Aminat, the Administrator at Kitara Medical Hospital, confirmed that Rwabugahya was already deceased when brought in. “We received her body when she was already dead, as confirmed by our clinical officer,” she explained, emphasizing that the death did not occur in their hospital.

Kenneth Agutamba, the Head of Communications at Stanbic Bank Uganda, expressed deep sorrow upon hearing of Rwabugahya’s death early Wednesday from her family.

He shared that Rwabugahya had dedicated 17 years to the bank and was deeply admired by her colleagues and customers for her passion and commitment.

Agutamba also mentioned that the cause of her death is still unknown, as it occurred at her home, and that her body is awaiting transport to Kampala for a postmortem.
