Namisindwa: Ceazer Zubeda Wasike, a prominent pastor and leader of Impact Ministries International, has officially announced her candidacy for the Namisindwa Woman MP seat.

With strong ties to local leadership being the sister of Namisindwa District Chairman Jackson Wakweika Zubeda is advocating for a change in governance, criticizing the current leadership’s performance and calling for a “tested and experienced administrator” to drive progress in the district.

Zubeda, known for her dedication to community development and church growth, aims to rally churchgoers and the wider community around her vision for positive change. She emphasizes the importance of integrity and trust in leadership, focusing on leaders who prioritize the well-being of their constituents.

Biography

Ceazer Zubeda Wasike studied at the Islamic University in Uganda, earning a Bachelor of Public Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management and Development.

She currently operates a community-based organization called Mustard Seed, which supports elderly individuals, victims of gender-based violence, widows, school dropouts, and orphans.

Her professional background includes roles in various organizations, such as CURE International Hospital, Benedictine Eye Hospital, and several hotels as a Human Resource Manager. Recently, she has engaged in community donations to local schools, providing scholastic materials and sanitary pads while offering guidance to students.

Zubeda is committed to uplifting vulnerable members of the community and promises to elevate Namisindwa, claiming that recent leadership has neglected the needs of its people. She is married to Simon Wasike and has three children, alongside running a small business in Mbale town.
