‘’They came, broke the door and accessed the house killed Nizemana and Joanani.’’
Kibaale: Residents of Maisuka ‘B’ Village in Maisuka Parish Kyabazihire Sub County Kibaale district have been left in shock after unknown assailants killed two children.
The unknown assailants entered the home of Katuye Cyprian and Rosemary Kaitesi, killing two of their four children, Joshua Nizemana (13) and Joanani (9).
The surviving children, Janepher Tusabe and Esther Kyokusiima, reported that a group of four people, including one identified as Julius Mwesigwa (aka Kareju), attacked their home around 1:00am on Sunday.
‘’They came, broke the door and accessed the house killed Nizemana and Joanani.’’
The boys’ parents were absent, with their mother attending a burial in Mubende district and their father seeking financial opportunities also in Mubende district.
Rosemary Kaitesi, the mother of the deceased, suspects Julius Mwesigwa, a former casual laborer, of being involved in the murders due to a previous conflict over a debt of 940,000 shillings.
Police from Kibaale, including Joseph Ayesiga, the O/C Station, and a scene of crime officer, responded to the incident with a sniffer dog but made no arrests.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
