He particularly applauded the Prime Minister of the Bugisu Cultural Institution, Dr. Paul Mwambu, and his cabinet for mobilizing the community against election-related violence.

The Umukuka also praised security leadership in the Elgon region, led by Mbale City Resident City Commissioner George Wopuwa, his deputies, and other Resident District Commissioners from the Bugisu region.

Appreciation was further extended to the police leadership under the Regional Police Commander Elgon, SSP Samuel Asimwe, alongside all district and city police commanders.

Additionally, the Bugisu Cultural Institution lauded the Electoral Commission team led by Ms. Sarah Mukwaya Bukirwa for overseeing the electoral exercise across the 17 districts that make up the Elgon region.
