Umukuka III pledges Shs2mln towards Cure Children’s Hospital Run
CURE Children’s Hospital, located in Mbale City, is one of Africa’s leading medical facilities specializing in brain surgery and the treatment of neurological conditions in children.
Mbale: His Highness the Umukuka III, Jude Mike Mudoma, has pledged UGX 2 million in support of CURE Children’s Hospital to aid in the treatment of neurological conditions among children.
This was revealed to this publication by the Spokesperson of the Bugisu Cultural Institution, Hon. Steven Masiga, who said the pledge was delivered by the Prime Minister of the Bugisu Cultural Institution, Rt. Hon. Dr. Paul Mwambu, on behalf of His Highness during the CURE Children’s Run held in Mbale City.
The annual charity run aims to raise over UGX 1 billion to support the treatment of children suffering from neurological and brain-related conditions.
“His Highness the Umukuka III remains committed to supporting initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of our people, especially children suffering from neurological disorders,” said Hon. Masiga.

The Prime Minister officially flagged off the charity run, which attracted numerous participants from across the region, all united in supporting the cause of saving children’s lives.
