Bugisu RDCs, RCCs pay courtesy visit to Umukuka III Mudoma
Col. Oguli commended Umukuka Mudoma for his steadfast leadership and dedication to uniting the Bamasaaba people.
Mbale: A delegation of Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and Resident City Commissioners (RCCs) from the Bugisu sub-region yesterday paid a courtesy visit to His Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, the Umukuka III of the Bamasaaba people.
According to Mr. Steven Masiga, spokesperson for the Inzu Ya Masaba cultural institution, the visit was led by Colonel Dhamuzungu Oguli, who serves as the Chairperson (Dean) of RDCs and RCCs in Eastern Uganda.
The delegation included:Col. Dhamuzungu Oguli, the Chairperson of the team / Dean of RDCs for Eastern Uganda, Hon. George Wopuwa, the RCC for Mbale City, Mr. Hamuza Banja, the Deputy RCC for Mbale Industrial Division, Mr. Were, the Deputy RCC, Northern Division, Mr. Kadimba Hussein, the Assistant RCC for Northern City Division and Assistant RCC for Industrial Division.
The leaders held extensive engagements with the cultural head on areas of mutual cooperation and regional development.
Col. Oguli commended Umukuka Mudoma for his steadfast leadership and dedication to uniting the Bamasaaba people.
“We thank His Highness for his tireless efforts in fostering unity and promoting cultural identity among the Bamasaaba. Strong cultural leadership complements our efforts in governance and development,” Col. Oguli stated.
The visit reflects growing collaboration between cultural institutions and government representatives aimed at enhancing peace, unity, and progress in the Bugisu region.
