Serere:  Acom Esther Lucy, an independent yet NRM-leaning candidate for Serere Woman Member of Parliament, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni following his official nomination as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential flag bearer for the upcoming 2026 general elections.

President Museveni’s nomination, which took place on September 23, 2025, has stirred enthusiasm among NRM supporters nationwide. Among those showing strong support is Acom, who acknowledged the President’s enduring leadership and its impact on Uganda’s development.

“Your leadership has been instrumental in shaping Uganda’s future,” Acom remarked, commending Museveni for his pivotal role in advancing national infrastructure, healthcare, education, and socio-economic stability.
