SAD! Lightning strikes one dead in Lamwo

Last month, struck 14 people dead and injured 34 others during prayers at the Palabek Refugee Settlement in Lamwo District.

Lamwo: A 13-year-old boy, identified as Munu Francis Oscar, was struck and killed by lightning on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in Alenyo South Village, Padibe East Subcounty, Lamwo District.

The announcement was made by Mr. Akera Wilson Muge, the Parish Chief of Lagwel Parish.

The deceased was the son of Oyet Micheal of the Itiba clan, residing in Alenyo South Village, Wangtit Parish, Padibe East Subcounty, Lamwo District.

Mr. Muge also reported that a similar incident occurred in the same area some time ago.
