The recovered motorcycles are currently stored at the Arua City Central Business Division.

Arua: The Arua City Police have made significant strides in their efforts to combat criminal activities related to motorcycles.

In a recent intelligence-led operation, they successfully recovered nine numberless Bajaj Boxer motorcycles on April 29, 2024.

These motorcycles were found in various areas within the city, including Ozua cell, Kirabu cell, Obolokofuku cell, Sansiro cell, and Hospital cell. The police suspect that these numberless motorcycles have been used for criminal purposes in the city.

During the operation, one key suspect was apprehended. However, the police have chosen to withhold the suspect’s name to avoid compromising the ongoing investigations.

The recovered motorcycles are currently stored at the Arua City Central Business Division.

This crackdown is part of a broader effort to restore safety and order in Arua City. The police vow to continue their operations until the city returns to a state of total sanity.

Josephine Angucia, the Public Relations Officer for the West Nile Region, provided this update on the successful operation.

The police’s commitment to maintaining security remains steadfast, and they will continue to take decisive action against criminal elements in the community.
