MP Asinasi encourages alumni to support Kitara Secondary School

Hoima: Hoima City Woman Member of Parliament, Asinasi Nyakato Kamanda, has called on former students of Kitara Secondary School to unite and work together to address the various challenges currently facing the institution.
Nyakato, a former student of the school, made these remarks during a visit to the school this afternoon, accompanied by other alumni.
As part of her efforts to improve the school’s facilities, Nyakato donated 10 CCTV cameras, 15 footballs, and a 55-inch TV screen to the school.
These donations aim to help tackle some of the challenges the school has been facing, including issues of security and student activities.
In her address to the students, Nyakato encouraged them to work hard and stay focused on their studies, stressing the importance of education in shaping their future.
She also expressed her concern about the school’s bus, which was taken during the war many years ago and has yet to be compensated.
Felix Asiimwe, a teacher at Kitara Secondary School, expressed his gratitude for the generous donations made by the MP and former students, highlighting how they will positively impact the school community.
Lukwago William, the Assistant Head Boy, acknowledged the support but noted that the school is still grappling with many challenges.
Nyakato’s visit and her contributions reflect her commitment to the development of Kitara Secondary School and the well-being of its students.
