Kiryandongo mother gives birth to triplets in her fifth pregnancy

Kiryandongo: Lilian Nzikuru, a resident of Opok village in Kicheabujingo sub-county, Kiryandongo district, has given birth to triplets at Panyadoli Health Centre IV.
The triplets, all girls, were delivered on Wednesday with the first baby born at 4:45 AM, the second at 4:47 AM, and the last at 4:49 AM. By press time, all three babies were reported to be in good health.
Nzikuru, who confirmed that this was her fifth pregnancy, expressed deep gratitude to the medical team at Panyadoli Health Centre IV for their care and support throughout her pregnancy and delivery.
“I am so grateful to the doctors and nurses for their kindness and professionalism,” she said. “They took good care of me and my babies, and I am thankful for their hard work and dedication.”
According to Dr. Akugizibwe Richard, the in-charge of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) ward at Panyadoli Health Centre IV, the successful delivery was a result of teamwork and dedication by the hospital staff.
“The mother was admitted to our hospital at around 4:30 PM, and our team worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and successful delivery,” Dr. Akuguzibwe stated. “We are thrilled that all three babies are healthy and doing well.”
He further praised the professionalism and commitment of the medical team at Panyadoli Health Centre IV, emphasizing their dedication to providing quality healthcare services.
“The successful delivery of these triplets is a testament to the high level of expertise and care that our medical team provides,” he said. “We are proud to serve the community and make a positive impact on people’s lives.”
