Kibaale: Police in Kibaale district are investigating a murder case involving a 50-year-old Korodina Mukamulezi, a resident of Birongo village in Kitaba parish in Kibaale district.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson, told journalists on Monday that on October 6, 2024, in the wee hours of the night at around 2 AM, an unknown person attacked the deceased when she was with her 5-year-old daughter sleeping in the house.

He adds that this prompted the 5-year-old daughter to inform the relatives about the incident.
Hakiza says no arrests have been made yet, but efforts are on to find the suspects. ‘’We haven’t made arrests, but efforts are on to trace and arrest the suspects,’’ he adds.
