Kapelebyong LCV Chairman declares bid for MP Seat

Kapelebyong: Francis Akorikin, the current Local Chairperson Five (LCV) of Kapelebyong District, has officially announced his intention to contest for the Kapelebyong County Member of Parliament seat.
Akorikin made the announcement during the launch of the Acowa-Acinga Road construction project held at Adepar Primary School in Kapelebyong District over the weekend.
In his speech, Akorikin emphasized the need for large-scale development projects to propel Kapelebyong District forward and bridge the gap with other districts. He stated that his lobbying efforts as LCV chairperson had laid the groundwork for such projects.
“I have been silent about my political ambitions because I wanted to ensure that key projects in Kapelebyong District were completed. Now, I am ready to take the next step and serve at the parliamentary level,” Akorikin said at the event in Acinga Sub-county.
He highlighted several reasons for his decision to run for the Kapelebyong County MP seat, emphasizing his commitment to driving development and representing the district effectively in parliament.
