Kagadi woman discovered dead in her banana plantation
She was found dead in her banana plantation covered with banana fiber.

Kagadi: Police in Kagadi district are investigating circumstances under which a 58-year-old woman was discovered dead in the banana plantation.
Jesca Hope Mukirirehe, a resident of Kanyebebe village in Kanyebebe parish, Kagadi district, was found dead in her banana plantation.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson, revealed that on the 26th of this month, at around 1800 hours, the deceased left her home for the Kanyebebe trading center to mobilize for the Thanksgiving ceremony that was due to take place on the 31st of this month at her home.
Hakiza told this publication that the deceased was last seen by her grandchildren going home.
On the morning of the 27th of this month, one of her daughters’ went to check on her and found her door wide open.
Upon looking around for Mukirirehe, she was found dead in her banana plantation covered with banana fiber, and efforts are on to hunt for the suspects.
The regional police mouthpiece asserts that efforts are on to hunt for the suspects.
