FUFA President Magogo joins NRM’s Byamukama in final campaign rallies
He stated that he is confident will win the elections and appreciated those who supported him during the campaign trail.

Masindi: The President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), Moses Magogo Hasim, today joined the campaign trail for Rogers Byamukama, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Member of Parliament, Masindi Municipality.
Addressing the media at Kolping Hotel in Masindi, Magogo said he decided to support Byamukama during the final phase of the campaigns after securing his own parliamentary seat unopposed as the Member of Parliament for Budiope East County.
Magogo noted that Byamukama is the right candidate to represent Masindi Municipality, citing his NRM ticket as a key advantage that would enable him to effectively lobby for services directly from the President.
While campaigning for Byamukama, Magogo asked electorates to vote for leaders who will serve them zeroing on NRM flagbearers noting that they have capacity to lobby for them.
Magogo asked the electorates to vote for Museveni for peace, development and stability stressing that the president has done them. He asserted that in case they don’t vote wisely, the country will be thrown into chaos.
Meanwhile, Rogers Byamukama welcomed Magogo’s support, saying his longtime friend decided to campaign and check on him after securing his parliamentary seat.
Byamukama added that once elected, he would work closely with Magogo and the Speaker of Parliament to ensure Masindi Municipality benefits from government programs.
He stated that he is confident will win the elections and appreciated those who supported him during the campaign trail.
The Electoral Commission will conduct elections for member of parliament and presidential candidates this week on Thursday.
