FINALLY! Echodu nominated to contest for NRM Vice Chairperson Eastern Uganda
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
Kampala: In a significant political development, Mr. Calvin Echodu has been officially nominated to contest for the position of NRM Vice Chairperson for Eastern Uganda.
The announcement was confirmed on Wednesday by the Electoral Commission of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, marking the start of what many see as a transformative campaign for the region.
Following his successful nomination, Mr. Echodu expressed heartfelt appreciation for the widespread support he has received, particularly from grassroots communities. He stated that his candidacy is driven by a desire to provide “real, action-based leadership” for Eastern Uganda.
“This moment is not just about me; it’s about our people and their hopes for genuine progress,” said Echodu. “I’m ready for the journey ahead ready to listen, to act, and to deliver results that matter.”
Mr. Echodu also took time to congratulate the NRM Party Chairman, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for once again offering himself to lead both the party and the country. He praised the President’s unwavering dedication to national development and called on all NRM members to unite behind the shared vision of progress and stability.
He emphasized unity and collective action as core themes of his campaign, quoting Helen Keller’s famous words:
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
This message, he said, reflects his commitment to teamwork, service, and community-driven transformation.
With a growing base of supporters and a clear, people-centered vision, Calvin Echodu’s nomination is being hailed as the beginning of a new chapter for Eastern Uganda.
As the race heats up, citizens and party members alike are watching closely to see how this dynamic candidate will turn vision into tangible action.
