Kiryandongo: The people of Kibanda South constituency in Kiryandongo district have come together to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Karubanga Jacob, their committed Member of Parliament.

In Nkwenda Village, Mboira Sub-county, Hon. Karubanga’s mediation in a land conflict that had persisted for over 20 years has brought long-awaited peace. The dispute, involving residents of Nkwenda 2 Village and a family led by Erica Kaheru, was resolved with 40 acres of land being returned to the community.
Led by Mr. Okello Gilbert, the Mboira Sub-county Speaker, and Mr. Onega Alex, LC1 Chairman of Nkwenda 2, the residents praised Hon. Karubanga for preventing potential evictions and ensuring justice. His timely intervention restored security and harmony, reaffirming his commitment to protecting the rights and livelihoods of his constituents.
Hon. Karubanga has also been a pillar of support to vulnerable groups, including the Single Mothers Association. Ochuna Emma, the association’s speaker in Nyakabale Trading Center, acknowledged his efforts as a source of hope and empowerment for many single mothers.
