Kagadi: Shock engulfed residents of Mpeefu Ya Sande Town Council in Kagadi District after a father killed his biological son for unknown reasons.
The incident happened last evening in Mpeefu A cell, Mpeefu Town Council, Kagadi District.
The deceased has been identified as Godfrey Byamugisha, a 30-year-old resident of the same area.
According to information obtained by this publication, the deceased returned home while drunk, caused havoc, and started fighting with his father, Jackson Turyatemba, which resulted in his death.
After committing the crime, Turyatemba fled the scene of crime.
It is alleged that the deceased has always had brutal fights with different people, including his relatives, and has been a drug addict.
Habitunjiro Yeremiya, the LC I Chairperson, Mpeefu A cell has condemned the act of a parent killing his own son.
However, he advises the youths to shun bad acts like drug addiction and excessive consumption of alcohol and instead focus on developmental projects.
Residents who spoke to this news portal described the deceased as a wrongdoer and a person who has been causing sleepless nights for many residents.
They have advised the youth to always obey their parents because the first blessing is obtained from a parent.
