Kikuube: The territorial police of Kikuube district registered a murder by mob where two unidentified suspected cattle thieves to wit goats were killed and burned.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region police mouthpiece, revealed that on Sunday at around 10 a.m., the residents of Musaija Mukuru A saw two young men riding a motorcycle registration UGF 826H and suspected them to be cattle thieves to wit goats in their area.
Hakiza says the wananchi raised alarm upon seeing the suspects and pursued and killed them. ‘’ After making an alarm, the suspected cattle thieves jumped off the motorcycles and started escaping; this prompted the angry residents to pursue them.
