State House breaks silence on RDCs reshuffle
It comes a few days after the president made changes in his cabinet.
Kampala: The State House has distanced itself from the circulating information regarding the Resident District/City Commissioners (RDCs) and their deputies reshuffle.
Social media has been washed with information indicating that President Yoweri Kaguta has reshuffled the RDCs/RCCs and their deputies.
It comes a few days after the president made changes in his cabinet.
Now, Faruk Kirunda, the deputy press secretary to the president, has distanced himself from the information making the rounds on social media.
‘’The general public is advised to ignore the fake news circulating of a purported reshuffle of RDCs and RCCs and their deputies,’’ he advised.
Kirunda asserted that any reshuffle by His Excellency, the President, is communicated through official channels. Please disregard the fake list intended to excite and cause panic in public.
