Kakooza, a resident of Kijura North Cell in Central Division, Masindi Municipality, had just joined the school this year for A-Level, where he was pursuing Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and ICT (BCM/ICT).
Kakooza reportedly went missing on Easter Monday after allegedly seeking permission to travel home for the Easter holidays.

Kusiima says she spent about six hours at the school without getting clear answers. She later proceeded with school administrators to Ndejje Police Station, where she made a shocking discovery of her son’s body, wrapped in a polythene bag, inside a police vehicle.
She says the school later informed her that Kakooza had allegedly been found dead in a swimming pool at Ndejje University.
Kusiima has questioned how her son ended up at the university, which is located some distance from the school.
Jessica Ajuna, the deceased’s maternal aunt, says she was informed by her brother but initially found it hard to believe, noting that she had spoken to Kakooza just a day earlier.
She has since tasked the school management to explain how the student died, emphasizing that Kakooza was a boarding student under the school’s care.
