President Museveni hails Faith of Unity for promoting oneness
She had been reportedly bewitched.
Kagadi: President Yoweri Museveni has lauded the faith of unity believers for promoting unity in diversity, which is one of the core principles of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
In the president’s message delivered to him by the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs in the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, Museveni said that uniting people promotes prosperity and national development.
Namyaaro delivered a lot of gifts from President Yoweli Kaguta Museven, mostly agricultural and vocational tools to help develop the faith of unity, saying that the president is encouraging people to self-empower.
Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo represented the president during celebrations to mark 44 years since Owobusobozi Bisaka healed the first person by touching at Kapyemi headquarters in Muhorro town council, Kagadi District.
Bisaka touched a sick person, a young girl, and she was instantly healed on February 22, 1980. She had been reportedly bewitched.
The leader of the faith of unity, Owobusobozi Bisaka, while preaching the word of unity, disclosed that the faith promotes oneness among the communities, adding that it is already international.
He has thanked his followers for being obedient and joining hands in supporting President Museveni, who has done more good things for Ugandans.
Meanwhile, Denis Namara Bindeba, the Member of Parliament for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), hailed the faith of unity believers for fostering development and encouraged them to show more interest in getting involved in government projects.
Owobusobozi Bisaka in 1980 founded the faith of unity, which currently has over 4000 branches (Amatabiro) and 35 zones (Obukwenda) globally, both connecting to Kapyemi headquarters.
