Police recover stolen Hoima Stadium construction materials

Hoima: Police in Hoima are investigating a theft at Hoima Stadium that is under construction.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson, disclosed that they are holding one Lawrence Kagino for allegedly being in possession of stolen items meant for Hoima Stadium construction and different parts of a motor vehicle disabled.
Hakiza revealed that the suspect was driving a pickup Sahara vehicle registration number UAE 474Q, and in it they recovered 36 pieces of iron sheets meant for Hoima stadium construction.

Hakiza says in the same vehicle they also recovered seven motor vehicle engines, 1 gearbox, 8 motor vehicle seats, 6 radiators, and 14 motor vehicle shock absorbers, among others, and one claimant unveiled that the above vehicle parts are 90% of his vehicle registration number UAF 3115 that had been stolen a few weeks ago.
Hakiza says Kagino has been arrested, and since he was just the driver of the pickup, the prime suspect, who is attached to Hoima Stadium construction staff, is still at large, and efforts are on to arrest him.
