Pastor Bujjingo to donate Christmas relief items in Bududa District
The relief distribution program, dubbed “Luunga,” will see an assortment of items given out to local residents to help them celebrate the Christmas season.
Bududa: Bududa District is set to receive Christmas relief items from Pastor Aloysius Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International on Saturday, 20th December 2025, as part of his visit to the Bugisu sub-region.
The development was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Bugisu Cultural Institution, Steven Masiga, who revealed that Pastor Bujjingo will distribute assorted relief items to the Bamasaaba people of Bududa, specifically in Bushika Sub-county.
Masiga said the cultural institution has officially received a letter addressed to His Highness the Umukuka, Jude Mike Mudoma, from House of Prayer Ministries International. The letter was signed by the founding Senior Pastor, Aloysius Bujjingo.
He further noted that the Bugisu Cultural Institution has worked closely with Pastor Bujjingo on several initiatives, including support through Salt Television and Salt Radio, which have covered cultural programs of the institution. Recently, Pastor Bujjingo also hosted His Highness the Umukuka and his entourage at House of Prayer Ministries International.
According to Masiga, Pastor Bujjingo’s itinerary while in Bugisu will include paying a courtesy visit to His Highness the Umukuka and distributing relief items in Bududa District, Bushika Sub-county. The relief distribution program, dubbed “Luunga,” will see an assortment of items given out to local residents to help them celebrate the Christmas season.
“As a cultural institution, we warmly welcome Pastor Bujjingo and encourage our people to turn up in large numbers to receive him. He comes as God’s messenger to Bugisu, bringing good tidings to our people,” Masiga said.
The contact person for the Bushika relief distribution exercise is Mr. Deo Matsanga. In his communication to His Highness the Umukuka, Pastor Bujjingo concluded with a prayer of blessing, wishing long life to the Umukuka of Bugisu and his subjects.
