Paidha United SC secures first win in West Nile Regional League

Nebbi: In the latest round of the West Nile Regional League, Paidha United SC secured their first victory in a closely contested match against Kuluva Rainbow, winning 1-0 at King Stadium Cana in Paidha.
Substitute Cwinyaai Francis, also known as Bright Lone, came off the bench in the second half to score the only goal, keeping Paidha United SC unbeaten in the league.
This was the seventh meeting between the two teams, with Paidha United SC now boasting six wins and one draw in their head-to-head record against Kuluva Rainbow.
In another exciting match, Padea Rising Stars FC stunned Nebbi Central FC with a 1-0 win in Zombo District, courtesy of Francis Osman’s 27th-minute goal.
Despite the recent rain making the pitch challenging, Padea Rising Stars held firm to secure their first points of the season after a 3-0 defeat in their opening match.
