MP Isingoma hands over administration block to Hoima Catholic Diocese

He noted that the new facility will provide much-needed office space for diocesan administration.

Hoima: The Hoima East Member of Parliament, Dr. Patrick Mwesigwa Isingoma Obama, has officially handed over a newly constructed administration block worth over 900 million Uganda shillings to Hoima Catholic Diocese.

The handover ceremony took place over the weekend at the diocese headquarters in Bujumbura, Hoima West City Division.

Dr. Obama revealed that the construction of the one-storied building began in 2022 and has cost approximately 950 million Uganda shillings.

He expressed gratitude to the administration of Hoima Catholic Diocese for allowing him to undertake and complete the project.

The Bishop of Hoima Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Vincent Kirabo, commended Dr. Obama for his generous contribution towards the development of the diocese.

He noted that the new facility will provide much-needed office space for diocesan administration.

Bishop Kirabo also used the occasion to urge parents to nurture their children into responsible citizens who can contribute to their communities, citing Obama’s generosity as an example to emulate.

Dr. Joseph Ruyonga, the Hoima West Member of Parliament, also attended the event and encouraged the public to follow Obama’s example of selflessness and community service.
