Mob lynch, incinerate suspected motorcycle thief to ashes

Rushenyi: The mob in Murambi cell, Katungamo parish, Rugarama Sub county-Rushenyi on Tuesday April 1st 2025 lynched and burnt a suspected motorcycle thief to ashes.
It is alleged that one known “boy” a son of Bebwa Omwitira by tribe of the above address was yesterday found with the missing motorcycle, the mob lynched and burnt him to ashes near Katungamo weekly market.
According to sources from scene of crime alleged that a one known as boy has been terrorising the area stealing people’s belongings like goats, motorcycles among others.
It adds that after the residents yesterday landed on him with the stolen motorcycle lynched him and pour Petro on him with the help of dry grasses and fire woods to incinerate him.
