Missing Kikuube man found dead in maize plantation

Kikuube: Police in Kikuube district are investigating circumstances under which one Deo Kyalingoza, a resident of Tuhumule village in Butole parish, Kyangwali Sub County, was murdered and dumped in a maize plantation.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region police mouthpiece, explained that the deceased went missing on July 6, 2024.
This prompted his farm manager, Deo Namanya, to mount a search for him.
Hakiza says on July 7, at around 11:00 a.m., the body of Kyaligonga was found lying in the maize plantation in the same village.
He expressed that no suspect has been identified yet and inquiries are ongoing to establish the suspect, but the preliminary finding they have is that the murder was a result of land-related matters.
