Kamana, who is a businessman, contested for Bubulo West County in 2021 but lost to Werikhe Peter Christopher during the National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries.
He is eyeing Bubulo County MP seat in Manafwa district. In his manifesto, Kamana pledges to improve on education, health services and infrastructural development.

‘’Like any other name in Buganda, Kamana is our family name, and I plan to name all my children Kamana. There are many people approaching and asking me how I have made it trend over the country,’’ he told the media.
‘’I just knew the artist who sang my song recently; he is not from Manafwa district, and he is so talented; actually, after releasing the song, social media users, Tik Tokers, and You Tubers promoted the song,’’ he noted.
