Masindi man beaten to death for demanding pay
The suspects are detained at Masindi CPS to answer charges of murder.
Masindi: Police in Masindi have arrested and detained four people for murdering Henry Kiiiza, 25, a resident of Kiryana trading center in Kimengo sub-county Masindi district.
The deceased was assaulted to death by Joseph Talimana and his friends on Monday, February 26, 2024.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Regional Police Spokesperson, explained that the incident happened at around 1 p.m.
Hakiza told our reporter that it’s alleged the deceased was murdered while fighting over non-payment since he was demanding his money from the charcoal dealer.
He says the fight started between the two friends, and later the other two joined, thus assaulting Kiiza to death.
The regional police mouthpiece asserted that the suspects are detained at Masindi CPS to answer charges of murder.
