Komakech transferred to Lamwo, Oceng to Nwoya as Museveni reshuffles RDCs
Former Gulu District RDC, Akello Alice Opio, has been appointed as the RDC Northern Region Representative in the Secretariat.
Kitgum: President Yoweri Museveni has recently reshuffled Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and Resident City Commissioners (RCCs) across Uganda.
These changes, which take effect immediately, aim to enhance governance and administration at the local level.
Formerly the Oyam District RDC, William Komakech has been transferred to Lamwo District as the new RDC.
Commissioner Oceng Geoffrey Osborn, who previously served in Lamwo District, has been moved to Nwoya District.
Ssegawa Nahemiah Jimmy Ebil (Kitgum), Kidega James Nabinson (Agago), and Odongo Milton (Pader) have been retained in their respective stations as RDCs.
Rwotlonyo Francis remains in Amolatar, Omongi Abdul George joins Amuru District, and Onyuk Andrew moves from Omoro to Apac.
Meanwhie, Odong Stephen Latek shifts from Amuru to Kaabong, Emmanuel Okot is transferred to Omoro, Omara Christopher moves from Nwoya to Otuke, Onoria Ambrose joins Gulu City, and Tumwesigye John Bosco is assigned to Gulu District.
In the capacity of deputy RDCs, Akol Susan Moro remains in Agago, Okidi James Cosmas continues in Gulu District, Banya Peter Ochora serves in Pece-Laroo Division, and Hajji Marijan Walire is the deputy RDC for Kitgum District.
Oguti Sebastian holds the position in Lamwo. Achan Proscovia (Amuru), Akol Geoffrey (Omoro), Saire Michael (Pader), and Ezama Ham Muzamil (Nwoya) are the other deputy RDCs.
