Hoima: Kitara Football Club and Lady Doves FC have signed a significant partnership, marking a pivotal moment for both clubs as they expand their footballing horizons.

The memorandum of understanding was ceremoniously signed at the Golden Castle Hotel in Hoima City, solidifying a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing football development across the region.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lady Doves FC assumes the role of Kitara’s official women’s team for all future engagements sanctioned by FUFA, CAF, and FIFA.

This strategic alignment not only strengthens Kitara’s organizational structure but also fulfills essential criteria outlined in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Uganda Premier League club licensing regulations.

Kitara FC’s recent triumph in the 2023/24 Stanbic Uganda Cup paved their path to the CAF Confederation Cup, highlighting their competitive prowess and ambitions on the continental stage.

Meanwhile, Lady Doves FC, based in Masindi district and known for their competitive spirit, concluded the previous season in the Uganda Women’s Super League with a commendable 4th-place finish.
