Kibaale: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has recently reshuffled Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) across the country, aiming to enhance governance and administration at the local level.
In this reshuffle, Godwin Kasigwa Angalia, the former RDC for Kibaale, was transferred to Terego district in the West Nile Region.
Angalia expressed his readiness to work in any part of the country, emphasizing his commitment to effective service delivery. ‘’As the NRM cadre, I’m ready to work in any part of the country.’’
‘’Before being appointed, we were trained to work in any environment and location for effective service delivery; therefore, I will work closely with and collaborate with the technical team of Terego district,’’ he said.
As a former opposition member, he also highlighted the importance of capable leadership for development, including improvements in health centers, roads, and schools.
‘’I know how to handle the opposition because I was once like them. In this era, we need to have good and capable leaders who can spur development because we need good health centers, roads, and schools, among others,’’ he said.
Angalia, who applauded President Museveni for trusting and deploying him in Terego district, pledged to collaborate and create peace and unity in the West Nile Terego district.
This marks Angalia’s third transfer, having previously served as the Resident City Commissioner for Fort Portal and later in Kibaale.
