Hoima West Division Deputy RCC dead, burial program released
She succumbed to diabetes and hypertension.

Hoima: The Deputy Resident City Commissioner for Hoima West Division, Hajjat Sarah Nanyanzi, has died.
She passed away on Monday evening at Mulago National Referral Hospital, where she was admitted on Friday last week.
Her death has been confirmed by Badru Mugabi, the Resident City Commissioner for Hoima.
According to Mugabi, the deceased succumbed to diabetes and hypertension, which she has battled for some time.
Hajjat Sarah Nanyanzi assumed the office of the Deputy RCC for Hoima West division on July 26, 2023, after her predecessor Kasibante had been transferred to Mpigi district in a mini-reshuffle.
She was the third commissioner of the Hoima West City division in a space of two years since it was created in the 2020/2021 financial year, with Michael Muhoozi being the first RCC before he was transferred to Makindye Sabagabo, followed by Kasibante.
Burial program
The body left Mulgo National Referral Hospital this morning at 8:30 a.m. At 9:30 a.m, it left Uganda Funeral Home.
At exactly 11:00 a.m., the body arrived at her residence in Kikyusa Village, Wobulenzi, and at 1 p.m., the body will leave for the main function at Katuumu village in Luweero district.
The burial program will begin this afternoon at exactly 4:00 p.m. at Katuumu village in Luwero district.
