Hoima police stuck with unidentified body
The body was conveyed to the city mortuary pending a postmortem and identification.
Hoima: Police in Hoima City are stuck with the body of an unknown male adult, approximately 30 years old.
Addressing the media on Monday, Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Regional Police Spokesperson, disclosed that the lifeless body was discovered dumped along Mparagasi Road in Kiyabutuzi LC1, Kibugubya Parish in Kyabigambire Sub County.
‘’The lifeless body was discovered on May 18, 2024, along the above address, and he is suspected to have been killed somewhere and the body dumped along the road,’’ Hakiza said.
The regional police mouthpiece said that the area chairman reported the matter to the police, and they rushed to the scene.
The body was conveyed to the city mortuary pending a postmortem and identification.
Hakiza advised those whose relatives are missing to cross-check with Hoima City Mortuary, adding that efforts to hunt for the suspects are on.
