Mugisha has vowed to combat corruption among government officials in the district.
Recently, the office of the Assistant District Resident Commissioner in Kagadi District, Obed Ambikiize, arrested four members of the Parish Development Model (PDM) committee and the parish chief of Kamaira parish in Rutete sub-county.
The arrested individuals included Parish Chief Tadeo Tweyonjere, SACCO Chairperson Habert Byabashaija, Secretary Innocent Byaruhanga, Treasurer Noeline Kabasinguzi, and former Treasurer Agatha Tumukunde.
They are accused of extorting money from PDM beneficiaries to access funds.
The authorities recovered 2,670,000 shillings, which will be used as evidence.
The suspects will appear in court after the police complete their investigations.
Obed Ambikiize warned that the district security team would launch operations to curb corruption in the PDM exercise across the district.
He stressed that almost all beneficiaries in all parishes have been extorted, which he condemned, and vowed that they would leave no stone unturned.
