Emorimor to reshuffle cabinet ministers

Mr. Okwi, however, said the new substantive Prime Minister's task will be to present 19 billion shillings for approval by the Council.

Teso: His highness Paul Sande Etomeileng Emolot has announced plans to reshuffle the cabinet ministers.

The reshuffle is expected to take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, during the sitting of the Council, the institution’s supreme legislative body.

Constantine Okwi, the ICU information minister, confirmed this morning that the reigning Emorimor Papa Iteso is expected to make a bombshell in his cabinet.

He said Emorimor will also announce a budget worth 19 billion shillings and appoint Andrew Ocole in an acting capacity following the resignation of the late Papa. Vance Omome on November 23, 2023.

“During the reshuffle, Emorimor is also widely expected to make alterations along the full rank and file of his cabinet, while also shaking the stock of his advisors, the Ere Iteso Construction Committee, the Secretariat, and other organs. While it is viewed as a mini reshuffle, the ripple effects may be  far-reaching,” said Mr. Okwi.

Mr. Okwi, however, said the new substantive Prime Minister’s task will be to present 19 billion shillings for approval by the Council.
