Kampala: Dr. Clet Masiga, Director of Planning at the Tropical Institute of Development Innovations (TRIDI), has been honoured with the Policy Impact Award from Alliace for Science, recognizing his exceptional leadership and contribution to advancing science policy, particularly in agriculture, forestry, natural resources and sustainable development.
Dr. Masiga’s career has been a testament to his ability to transform scientific discoveries into real-world applications. His work has bridged the gap between researchers, policymakers, and local communities, resulting in evidence-based solutions that have contributed significantly to food security and improved agricultural practices throughout the region.
