Bukedea teacher succumbs to fibroids
Madam Icano has been the senior English teacher for over ten years.
Bukedea: The fraternity of St. Theresa senior secondary school in Bukedea district experienced a bad black Sunday after receiving shocking information about the dismay of one of their female teachers, Suzan Icano.
Madam Icano has been the senior English teacher for over ten years.
Icano succumbed to fibroids on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Lira Hospital after an operation.
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths in the muscle layer of the uterus and can cause painful and heavy periods.
Mr. Charles Ceasor Opolot, the St. Theresa senior secondary school head teacher, confirmed this in an interview today, saying her dismissal is a big tragedy for the school.
He said the deceased has been a very hard-working person, which contributes to the great performance of the school.
“It’s painful that we have lost her at this time, but we still need her help and support,” said Mr. Opolot.
However, we were unable to get a comment from the family members by the time we filed this story.
