Bukedea: The management of the Bukedea Comprehensive Secondary School Football Team in Bukedea District has confirmed that the school team is set to represent Teso Subregion in the Elite Football League.
The elite tournament is scheduled to take place in Jinja on January 25, 2024.
About eight schools are expected to compete.
Sam Kamulinde, the school football coach, says the boys are well equipped and ready to compete.
“We have equipped our boys very well with all the skills and tactics, and they are set for the game,” said Coach Kamulinde.
Coach Kamulinde also added that only three boys are having minor injuries, which are not a threat to the school team.
However, this publication also learned that Amus College Secondary will also participate in the tournament, rounding out only two schools in the Teso subregion.
